CAMOC exhibition Ruyell Ho and Li Lin Lee: Language of Abstraction from September 20, 2025 to April 26, 2026 in the Ruth & Samuel Moy Gallery.
The show features select work by two artists work in conversation with one another, and grounds them within Chicago's art historical movements, with hints at familial story, legacy, and possibility, evolved across great swaths of time and place. In a city known for its own brand of Surrealist and Pop Art-influenced figurative painting, Ho and Lee forged separate but parallel paths, doggedly creating their own lexicon centered on the form, structure, and mechanics of the written, over the past fifty years in Chicago.
