This curatorial talk is an alternative tour of Race Making, led by guest curator Lenore Metrick-Chen. In this event, Lenore will reflect on her process of collecting, interpreting and selecting the trade cards, offering a behind-the-scenes perspective on how these everyday “ordinary” advertising cards contribute to the social construction of race.
